Explanation / объяснение

Recently I posted in Russian. Let me explain. I received a challenge a while back to post on the internet in Russian. The purpose of which was to be a presence of good on the internet for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to all those who speak Russian. There aren't a lot of members of the church in Russia as well as neighboring Russian speaking countries. Recently, a good friend of mine who served in Samoa and learned to speak Samoan also challenged me to do the same. He is a lot better than me at posting in Samoan. So this is an attempt to be a source of good for the church on the web for them and to take the challenge I've been given.

Also, Google just added a transliteration thing for posts that allows me to type in English letters to sound out Russian words. It is hard to do but fun and forces me to practice my Russian so I don't completely forget it. Last time some friends of mine translated it and using an online translator and it came out all funny and some words didn't translate at all because I spelled them wrong. My mother-in-law asked Court if I knew that she couldn't read it. Haha! So from now on I will have an English translation with the Russian translation so that all will be happy and understand together. For now it will be just the piece below.

I know that Jesus is the Christ. He is our Savior and Redeemer. He lives and loves us.
Я знаю щто Исис есть Xристос. Он наш спацитель и искупитель. Он жив и любит нас.

Is this real?

In about one month's time I'll be walking down the aisle at graduation, receiving my Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Systems!! Can this be real? I have been in college so long and have switched majors multiple times, I never thought this day would come. It will be nice to get away from having to work and go to school and then have to go home and do homework until who knows when.

You might ask, What's next? I have no idea!!! I'm applying for lots of jobs right now and have been having interviews almost every week. It is exciting to have lots of interviews. It makes me feel like I have something to offer, but still no job offers yet. Keep your fingers crossed and say some prayers for me. I know Court is ready to stop working so I can support us for a while. She was recently accepted to a grad program and is excited to go back to school and to further her knowledge and expand her career opportunities.

Life is good, and we are busy. Our church callings keep us busy and constantly learning. We just got asked to speak in church on Sunday. We are nervous but excited for the opportunity. Our speaking topics are, "Applying the healing power of Christ's atonement" and "Getting help when you need it". As you can see these are great but not easy topics to cover in a short 12 minute talk. We'll let you know how it goes.

Current Projects

A friend of mine has entered a competition here at school. The purpose of this competition is to teach how to improve your websites page rank through SEO(search engine optimization) and increase conversion rates(number of people buying your product). My friend, however, is not trying to sell anything. He wants to build a site that is aesthetically pleasing and easy to use and understand when it comes to finding online sales like for stores like Walmart and Barnes and Noble. He thought this competition would help him get started on something he wants to continue doing well after the competition is over. I offered to help him in my free time.

We are still currently building the site and are trying to figure out how to grab current sales online and display them on his page. Check it out here at http://www.esavur.com. We would love your thoughts and feedback as to what you think would improve your experience, seeing as how neither of us have done this before. We hope to learn a ton, gain some success and have some fun doing it.
