Jackson turned 8 months last Sunday! I'm sure I say this all the time, but we can't believe how big he is getting! He is still our tall, skinny guy, and he is getting to be so much fun!
At 8 months, Jackson ...
- loves eating baby food! He still isn't quite sure about finger foods yet, but we did get him to eat some banana chunks (in between squishing the bananas between his fingers ;) )
- is doing pretty awesome at sitting up by himself, but still sometimes freaks out when he falls over
- is starting to scoot a little bit
- loves to stand! He can support himself really well standing with a little bit of help from us
- is starting to cut his top two teeth (hopefully they will make a breakthrough this week!) which will bring him to a total of 4
- loves it when daddy flips him around and throws him in the air
- is finally sleeping without being swaddled, and loves taking advantage of the chance he has to move around his crib. We always have a fun time seeing where he is and in what position he is in when we get him up in the morning and from naps.
- loves to "talk" and finally said "momom" the other day (to add to his "dada" that he has been saying for a couple of months)!
- is such a happy, fun baby! We love when he gets excited over little things, and he has the best smile!
