Jackson has inherited many things from his mom and dad, some
things good and some things not so good. For example, from his mom he has
inherited his immune system (not so good), his eyes, his smile, and his
dimples. From his dad, he has his hair, his height and his abilities to make
sound effects.
This week we learned another thing he has inherited from one
of us. He has inherited from his mother a love of cats. We went to a friend’s
house earlier this week to get his hair cut and they have lots of animals. They
have cows, a pygmy goat, dogs and cats with a whole bunch of kittens.
He loved all of the animals but he really loved the cats and
kittens. He had to have ALL of the kittens on top of him. He would get upset if
we took him away or didn’t let him have all of the kittens. Hence the tears
(plus he hated getting his hair cut).
