Haircut #2

Jackson had his first haircut back at the end of November, and last night we decided it was time again.  He was starting to form a nice little mullet in the back, coupled with the sweet comb over his babysitter does to his hair everyday, it was getting a little crazy.  Someone Shawn works with used to cut hair and suggested we put him up to a mirror this time so he could see what was going on in an effort to make it go a little smoother ... but it didn't work ... at all.  Poor guy was terrified of the clippers, and this time was definitely worse than last time.  He cried and cried and started shaking because he was so scared and kept grabbing at mommy to save him.  It took a while to calm him down afterwards.  He was afraid to touch anything and kept putting his head on my shoulder.  Part of his intense reaction might have been due to the fact that he skipped his afternoon nap and had been up since noon (it was 7pm).  Either way, it was pretty sad.

But on the bright side, the mullet and comb over are gone and Jackson is still our handsome little man!  I think Shawn did a good job, especially considering what he was working with.  Here are some pictures from this morning (after he had a good night's sleep to help him get back to his normal self).

What a handsome boy :)
